List of Prohibited and Restricted Goods

With our commitment to high-quality and safe service, we must make sure that prohibited items are never shipped by Johnny Air Cargo to the Philippines. There are three types of products that, when brought into the Philippines, are in violation of the country's law, and they are as follows:

  • Imports subject to regulation - Regulated imports are the kinds of goods that cannot be brought into the country unless the importer first obtains the appropriate licenses or permits.
  • Import restrictions - Restricted imports are items that may only be brought into the country if given permission to do so by law or regulation.
  • Importation restricted by law - Prohibited imports are items that cannot be brought into the country because of the way they were manufactured. In other contexts, these items are referred to as "contrabands".
